Meow plushie from Space Dandy

Description

This is the plushie I was working on for Christmas. I didn't want to post it on here until Ben saw it. I was a little unsure at first when iI began making him but seeing the smile on his face and how happy he was definitely made it the best! Meow is 18.5-19 inches tall. I used polyester fabric for just about everything except the eyes and the smiley face on his hat (that's felt). He took me a little over a week to do I think. The clothes were the trickiest but somehow i managed to get that done. I didn't sew the clothes I just used scissors and hot glue and lots of readjusting. His outfit is kinda weird. It's a toga style in the front but then it goes into a overall thing in the back. The pouch does open and close and is held together with velcro on the ends of the straps. The eyes were probably the scariest part of this whole thing for me. I'm not a pro on making things look exactly the same on opposites side and fabric paint has not always been my friend, cause of the chance that my shaky fingers messing it up. I tried out the shape and color on a piece of scrap polyester to see if it would go well and it did. The paint took so long to try that eventually I just used my hair dryer on it lol. the mouth and ears are done with fabric paint as well.
Big shout out to ThePlushieLady for pointing me to tutorials and excellent tips!

Not to be a dick, or anything like that, but he looked like he'd been choked to death and been taxidermied badly. But it's still a good plush, it looked like it took a very long time to finish, and I couldn't do better, but to question, why doesn't he have his yellow-orange crocks on? It just makes he has his crocks had been surgically moved into his feet.
