Judy Hopps feet

Here is one of my rabbit feet for my Judy Hopps cosplay. The original idea was to make the feet out of foam but that can be expensive and tricky. So my aunt gave me the idea to use flats instead. You don't need much. You just need:
A pair of comfortable flats (preferably closed-toe)
long socks in the color that you want
hot glue
a hot glue gun
stuffing
Felt
scissors
a sewing needle and/or a sewing machine
and patience
The idea is to create a pocket with the sock. What i did i I just pulled the sock over the shoe, pinned down the sides and then slowly cut and hot glue the sides down. don't hot glue it all the way around yet though. You'll want to leave some space preferably near the top so that you can add some stuffing. Be real careful with how much you stuff because the more you add the harder it is to put on. I actually had to undo a bit of the sock to remove some stuffing because i had trouble putting the feet on.
(This should be done either first or before you glue the toe side down) The felt I used for the toes and nails. You'll want to make them long enough that they stick out to the size you want but also so that you have enough room to glue under the sock and walk safely. These shoes are a size 10 or 11 and the toes are about 2 inches long. It took me several tries to get the toes I wanted so don't be afraid to buy lots of felt squares.
Also a bit of a precaution the sock may come undone if you didn't glue it down enough. Mine came undone twice but they seem to be fine now. Just glue it down as best as you can and be sure to have a repair bag with you just in case.
